Brooks-Rose is hired by clients for a variety of reasons:
- Benefit of working with a team that has a wealth of experience beyond marketing research—including brand management, marketing and marketing communications, and advertising.
- Desire to work with a firm that is highly involved and “user-friendly”—and still provides many of the services of a larger company without the formality and expense of working with a big bureaucratic organization.
- Need to work closely with senior people on all aspects of projects that require both qualitative and quantitative phases—including experience and capabilities with a range of online methods.
- The principal of the firm is a highly experienced and skilled qualitative researcher, and will personally conduct focus groups and/or in-depth interviews if these techniques are utilized.
- Require a company that has extensive knowledge and experience in B2B research, and in interviewing more difficult to reach audiences including senior executives, business owners, members of the financial community, and healthcare professionals.
- Need to work with a research partner that has experience with and understands the needs and concerns of intermediaries such as advertising agencies, design and PR firms, and consultancies.
- Need to work with someone who is very strong at the completion of the project; someone who can communicate the study findings and there meaning in clear, actionable language—without a lot of jargon.
- Want to work with a reliable partner who is willing and capable of working with clients upfront to determine the alternative and most compelling approaches, as well as what is “affordable” if the budget is limited.
- Need to outsource all or a portion of a project due to limitations in personnel, resources, expertise, or time—to a firm that can be relied upon and accommodate your needs in an expedient manner.
- Do not need or want an “off-the-shelf” product driven by any one methodology, but rather a custom approach designed specifically to achieve the stated objectives.
- Simply do not have the budget required to engage one of the industry giants.
