Mitchell Brooks, President
Mitchell is personally involved in the study design, implementation, and analysis and reporting on all the firm’s assignments. He has over 24 years of marketing and brand management, advertising, and marketing research experience.
Prior to establishing BrooksRose, Mitchell was a principal and president of Consensus International Marketing Research. He spent over twelve years in the advertising business, including senior management positions at J. Walter Thompson and Hal Riney & Partners. Earlier in his career he held corporate positions in brand management.
Mitchell is a member of the Qualitative Research Consultants Association (QRCA), the leading organization for moderators of focus groups, and personally moderates over 100 focus groups a year. He earned a B.S. from Boston University, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Melanie Rosen, Vice President and General Manager Melanie is responsible for the financial and administrative functions of the firm, as well as project management duties. Prior to joining BrooksRose, Melanie held a variety of management positions for over twenty years at The New York Times in finance, production, advertising, and marketing. Melanie has a B.A. from Simmons College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
Pamela Brooks, Vice President and Senior Project Manager
Pamela is involved in a range of functions at BrooksRose, including the supervision of field interviewing, personally conducting executive interviews, and the analysis and reporting of study findings. She has worked in the marketing research business for eight years, after spending over 15 years in sales, merchandising and marketing. Pamela has a B.A. from Hofstra University and an M.A. from Queens College.
Karel Smith, Executive Interviewer
Karel has been recruiting and personally interviewing senior executives and doctors for over 15 years—conducting many interviews others say “cannot be done.” She has conducted thousands of in-person and telephone interviews among Fortune 1000 C-level executives, financial executives, business owners, IT and marketing managers, and the financial community (money/portfolio managers, securities analysts, investment bankers, traders). Karel received her B.A. and M.A. from New York University.
